Yesterday I spent the afternoon taking pictures for the Pheasant Fields Farm Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Attendees got a chance to tour the farm, hunt for eggs, plant a sunflower, attend a story/puppet show or go sit on one of many of the tractors. There was quite a turn out and the weather was absolutely gorgeous! Nikki and Allen Johanson also generously hosted the kick-off of the annual canned food drive sponsored by the Kitsap Community and Agricultural Alliance to benefit Kitsap families. Food donations were given to local food banks. Assistance for the event will be provided by Explorer Search & Rescue, Kitsap Unit.
