.... is one of the breeds of laying hens I got this year. They are great layers, really mellow and just all around low maintinence chickens. My husband put privacy curtains on the nesting boxes because he read in one of my chicken books that the hens liked it. It cracked me up! You can see them in one of the pictures.....
